Make Believe

Today I met a boy
who lived a make believe life
and overachiever who
refused to put differences aside
He touched me with his ways
For him the sun shall never fade
because he sees love in everything around him
even though things are fallin apart
and he knows in his heart
that she will never love him
be with him, look at him with longing
and in the anger of his mourning
he sought revenge upon her
told her he never loved her
closed the door in her face
and savored his tongue with distaste
for he knew that none of it was true
and without her love he'd be forever blue
but still sought his revenge upon her
this poor boy who led a make believe life
